Holly Meadows from TreMonti Consulting will present on involving students with intellectual property and developing patents, and will provide tips for faculty and students developing new technologies. Faculty, staff and students are welcome.

This in-person workshop is primarily geared towards faculty who are interested in applying to our internal programs: Research, Scholarship & Creative Activities (RSCA) Grant Program and/or the Teacher-Scholar Mini Grant (TSMG) Program. The interim Vice President for Research and the Director of Grants Development will provide tips and suggestions for drafting competitive proposals to these programs. Though primarily geared toward internal program support, this workshop will also allow time for limited assistance with extramural grant proposals. Attendees should bring their laptop and be prepared to work on a proposal(s). Due to space limitations, we are using three separate classrooms in building 26 for this event. Please note the room numbers above for which program will be discussed in each room.
