Cal Poly faculty members will share their experiences mentoring faculty and students, respectively, in research, with time for questions at the end. Light refreshments will be provided.

Coffee & Connections: Connecting aspiring and current student researchers with faculty, staff & each other, Tuesday, October 10, 3:10-5:00pm

An informal meet-n-greet designed to connect aspiring and current student researchers with faculty, staff & each other. Coffee and snacks available. Drop-in or stay the whole time. Hosted by the Office of Student Research. Registration not required.

Come celebrate Cal Poly faculty researchers at our annual reception. Interim Vice President for Research Dawn Neill will provide formal remarks and present exciting research acknowledgments. Refreshments will be provided.

SURP+ Poster Symposium: Student Research Celebration & Poster Presentations.
Mini Grad School/Research Opportunities Resource Fair: Co-located with the SURP+ Symposium. Connect with on- and off-campus graduate school recruiters and research opportunities.
Drop-in or stay the whole time. Connect with students, faculty, and staff engaged in Learn by Doing Research at Cal Poly. Light refreshments provided. Hosted by the Office of Student Research. Registration not required.

National Transfer Student Week, October 16-20, 2023
The Office of Student Research will be facilitating a transfer student researcher panel on Tuesday October 17 and hosting a workshop on finding and applying to student research opportunities specifically geared for transfer students immediately afterwards. Please stay tuned for more event details!
